Three Butterflies on a Gingham Gala Background Notecard

Here is another card using the Gingham Gala and Botanical Butterflies.  Sometimes I forget (o.k., many times) to decorate the envelopes on the front.  As you can see above, adhering on of the butterflies to the envelope really adds.

Supplies Used:

Notecards and Envelopes Whisper White -#131527 $8.50

Basic Black 8 ½” x 11” Card Stock-#121045 $8.50

Gingham Gala 6” x 6” Designer Series Paper-#148554 $11.00

Gingham Gala Adhesive Backed Sequins-#148561 $7.50

Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper-#149622 (Sale-A-Bration $50 item)

Snail Adhesive®-#104332 $7.00

Snail Adhesive Refill-#104331

Multipurpose Liquid Glue-#110755 $4.00

Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals-#144108 $4.00

Paper Snips-#103579 $10.00

Stampin’ Trimmer-#126889 $30.00

Stampin’ Trimmer Blades-#126995 $6.00 (two in package)

Grid Paper-#130148 $11.75

Black Cardstock 3 ¼” x 4 ¾”

Gingham (orange) 3” x 4 ½”

Gingham 5” x 5”

Cut all the paper and cardstock.  Adhere the larger gingham paper to the black cardstock..  Adhere this piece to the front of the notecard.  Fussy cut three butterflies from the Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper.  Place butterflies on the gingham as shown in the photo using mini dimensionals.  Place four round sequins on the gingham background in between the butterflies. Place adhesive at the top of the 5” x 5” gingham paper on one side. Place in the envelope so the side with adhesive is toward inside of the envelope with the envelope seal showing.  Trim the excess gingham paper off the envelope flap. Fussy cut a butterfly for the front of the envelope and adhere.

Thank you so much for stopping by.  Please subscribe to this blog so you do not miss anything.  Also remember that now is Sale-A-Bration so you want to get all the items for free for each $50 you spend.  My favorite time of year.
