Birthday Blooms Floral Card
by Phyllis Shepherd, Independent Stampin’ UP!® demonstrator
I had great news on Monday. I was to go in for radiation and then go for a biopsy of my breast and lymph nodes. After I went for my radiation treatment, I went up to my oncologist’s office because I had received a phone call from them. They told me that they had enough information on my cancer from my leg tissue and bone that they had gotten at the time they put a rod in my leg. Also from my PET scan, mammogram and chest screening.
Because of that, I do not have to have a biopsy. Things are changing all of the time.
All through this process and journey, I have encountered so many wonderful things happening. Monday one of my demonstrators came and went through my soon-to-be-retired products in order to get them out of here. What a blessing. Because I move at a snail’s pace these days, no telling how many weeks this would have taken me to get it done. This was God working through this wonderful demonstrator. One of my dear friends came over in the afternoon and gave me another prayer shawl she had personally made for me. This is my third prayer shawl. I rotate between all three to give me warmth and know they all three were prayed over for me. Again these are only two things that happened Monday. I could tell you so many other stories like this that have deeply moved me.
Sometimes it takes an event like my getting cancer to see God’s greatness in people. It is such an epic thing to see in action. I would not wish this event on anyone, but if I could just let everyone see what I am seeing I know you too would be so moved. I feel so blessed and loved! Now on to a stamping project. I hope you enjoy. Thank you for hanging out on my blog. If I can help you with anything, please let me know. I am so grateful for you in my blog audience. Thank you for being here.
