Birthdays With Birthday Bouquet

Below is another card I received from Jill Olsen. Absolutely wonderful for a birthday, thinking of you, congratulations, missing you or so many occasions. This is one of the cards I love because it is a great one to have on hand for all sorts of events. Beautiful colors and so happy and cheery.
To make the rectangle part of the flower you cut the rectangle out and stamp the flower on it where you want the rectangle to be. Emboss the image using a versamark pad and black embossing powder and color in the flower. Place on a piece of black card stock that is slightly larger to show a black border. The main flower is also embossed which really gives a wow factor to the card. Embossing was the technique that originally turned me on to stamping. I went in a stamp store, was shown thermal embossing (embossing with heat) and was hooked. I have not looked back and still love the look of embossing. The sentiment came from the Birthday Blooms stamp set like the blooms did. An extremely versatile stamp set. I am thrilled that Jill sent me this card and it is all ready to send.
