Super Quick And Easy Bow Using Designer Series Paper
December 21, 2015
I want to show you how to make a quick and easy bow today. Why? Because I ran out of the bows I purchased and had to come up with a way to make my own. I had already been out and did not want to go out among the crowds yet again. I figured that if I had this problem you may also be in the same pinch I was in. I love the Stampin' Up!® Designer Series Paper for wrapping. It is thick enough not to rip as you wrap a gift and as long as the gift will fit in a 12" X 12" sheet of paper. I also add papers together when I need to add extra wrap to a package. For the bow I cut Designer Series Paper into 12" X 1" strips. You can shorten this strip if you want a smaller bow. Below you will see the steps I took. I used the liquid glue to close the strips and make each strip into a circle and staples to staple the center of the circle.
I placed an Iced Rhinestone Embellishment in the center. Other ideas would be to place a button, a smaller similar bow (in the same or a coordinating paper), lace, trim or anything you may have on hand that would make the package look wonderful.
The best part??? I did not have to go out and fight the crowds, used something I already had and will be guaranteed someone will say something about the wrapping.

Merry Christmas, Seasons Greetings and Happy New Year!

Thanks, Phyllis. This is a great way to use up scraps, especially the strips left over after making gift bags!
