Creative Inking Blog Hop November Blog Hop - Terrific Techniques
November 20, 2015
My Creative Inking Blog Hop Terrific Technique is the dot to dot. Why dot to dot? Because if you have two dots of all sorts you can put them together to make a special look. For my card I took the Neutrals Designer Series Paper Stack and cut the black polka dot paper 4" by 5 1/4 inches. I also separated the gold sequins and placed each one on a glue dot. See below:
I then placed the sequins on the polka dots (dot to dot) leaving one polka dot uncovered inbetween the two sequins as shown below:
After this was completed and only in the center, I decorated over the top. When I was in Brussels last week everything I was looking at was black and gold and it looked absolutely gorgeous. I turned a metallic medallion over to show the white and used a gold butterfly for the accent. Simple, but I love it. I hope you do too!
I would love to share a swap I received at the On Stage Live in Brussels. It was a small box that would hold two to three lip balms. It was made by Michaela Gack. This box was the "look" I saw so much of in Brussels and wanted to emulate for the card above. So elegant and classy. It has a fold over opening.
Thank you so much for stopping by. If you are not a subscriber to my blog I hope you will subscribe and not miss any future posts. I am so thrilled you came to this blog hop. Please hop around to see all the participant's projects. You won't want to miss the incredible talent.

What can I say Phyllis-I LOVE polka dots!

My jaw dropped open with your tip of putting sequin on the glue dot roll and then onto your DSP. What a time-saver! Beautiful projects!!!
