Creative Inking Blog Hop Birthday Bash Using Paper Pumpkin
August 20, 2015
Welcome to August's blog hop. This hop is all about birthdays and when this month's Paper Pumpkin came I could not resist to make my girlfriends' birthday packaging with this.
This bag was using the elements of the kit as shown, putting one of the new rhinestones in the middle and tying it around a Sketched Dots Tag a Bag. It could be filled with so many things for a birthday but I filled this one with chocolate for my friend who adores chocolate.
The next birthday packaging is a gift card holder. I scored the sides of the card at 1/2" and put Tear And Tape adhesive on the sides like shown. I then punched a hole on each side in the middle as shown.
I then cut a piece of heavy white card stock 4 1/2" by 2 3/4" to place in the card. You can see in the photo below how I placed the ribbon so I can pull the card out of the center. A gift card will be attached to the white piece of cardstock. I decorated a little but more later.
Next I completed the decorating as shown below using gold sequin trim and gold cording.
Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you will subscribe to my blog so you do not miss out on anything. Hop on over to our next demonstrator Lisa. You will love her talent and all the projects from this group of talented demonstrators.
