Creative Inking Blog Hop Mother's Day
April 20, 2015
Welcome to the April Mother's Day Blog Hop! For the flower on the muslin bag I cut the crushed curry ribbon 7 inches in length and gathered it on one side, sewed the two ends together and sewed a button on it (I did this by hand) and then stitched the flower to one side of the muslin bag. I stamped and punched the paper flowers, added a 1" Early Espresso circle and button and put on a straw (from a past Paper Pumpkin kit) to add to the bag. For the card I used the Top Note Bigz die and stamped everything flat first and then popped up the Top Note center with dimensionals. I will give this to a special friend who is a mother. I put chocolate in it and some other goodies. Tomorrow come back and I will show a special card made by one of my demonstrators that inspired this card. In the meantime continue hopping to each blog and enjoy all the projects. Awesome demonstrators and projects!!! Thank you for visiting my blog!!!

I love your card! The flowers are super cute!!
The blog hop was so much fun and great inspiration!

Reminded me of pinwheels! Could even use those pixie sticks for the flowers for an added sweetness.

The flowers make me think of summer and rows of sunflowers :) What a cheerful gift to give!
