It is always hard to think of a card for my sister. I want it to be extra special. We have an extremely strained relationship which I hate. I have not heard from her for over a year now at all. Extremely sad especially when it is a family member only two years younger than I am. Even though she does not want to contact me I want to always have that door open just in case her feelings change. Because of that I always send cards to her and her family. I loved the way this card turned out. I used the same technique with the same paper I posted about yesterday. I used the blush blossom paper for this card. The old can of gold webbing spray I used still does not "web" when sprayed but squirts the gold. I actually like it. It was fun using the gold foil paper for the bow and for mounting the designer series paper on. The glitter paper also added to the card. For the inside of the card I used one of my January Paper Pumpkin hearts and trimmed it down to fit in the card. I added some gold sequins to give it an added touch. I loved how it turned out and hope she does too. Someday I hope our relationship changes. I am so ready for a positive change in our relationship but until then I hope the cards I send help her find a little happiness in her extremely sad life. I know a handmade card always brightens my day.
