Paper – 9” x 9″ (after cutting this 12” x 12” piece save the scraps to make cards for inside the box).
Punch and score at 3 ½” and 4 ½” on the first side; then rotate 90⁰ to the left. Use the score guides on the following 4 sides to complete 8 punches and scores. Use the rounder on the side of the punch board to round all 4 corners.
Cut as shown in the picture. Then glue the box
together as indicated. To hold the flap of this box
shut I used super flat Velcro® tabs. You can see them
in the last picture.
Stamp the saying from Beautiful You in Memento Ink on a piece of Whisper White Cardstock. Take the squiggly line and
stamp it in Lemon Lime Twist Ink. Stamp off once on throw-away scrap paper before stamping over the words. Use the Big
Shot Die-Cutting Machine to make a ‘sandwich’ in this order: Magnetic Platform, a standard cutting pad, the stamped
image and an oval die from the Layering Ovals Framelits Dies, and lastly the other standard cutting pad. Run this
‘sandwich’ through the machine. Find the coordinating scallop oval for the stamped piece you just cut and die cut a
piece of Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock. Layer the two pieces together and adhere to the front of the box.
The box will hold 6 cards with envelopes if you don’t have ribbon on the
cards, but may only hold 3-4 if you do.
