Happy Day, Year, Life - Easel Calendar Card

Alaska Achievers Blog Hop November 2017

Alaska Achievers Monthly Blog Hop

Welcome to this month's blog hop where I will show you a card I made using new product from the Occasions catalog going live January 3, 2018.  I had so much fun playing with the new product and I know you will too.

The above card was made using product from the Tutti-Frutti Suite as well as a card from the Petal Passion Memories & More Card Pack.  The sentiment was cut out using the two inch punch.  A frame for the sentiment was made by punching out Basic Black Cardstock using the Starburst punch from the annual catalog 2017-18.  The sentiment was adhered to the frame using multipurpose glue and then placed on the mango designer series paper using Stampin' Dimensionals.

Basic Black Cardstock was cut 4 1/4" by 11" for a base.  On the 11" side, it was scored at 5 1/2" and folded using a bone folder.  A piece of the Tutti-frutti 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper was cut 4 3/4" by 3 3/4.  It was layered on a Lemon Lime Twist piece of cardstock cut 5" by 4".  This was all adhered to the Basic Black Card Base.  The black and white dotted background is the back side of this designer paper.  This will be used for the inside liner of the envelope the card will go into.

To add a little fun to the card, the new Tutti-frutti Adhesive-Backed Sequins in Lemon Lime Twist were placed on the card.  These are so great because the adhesive is already on them.  You just need to place them and push for them to stay.  Glitter & Clear Epoxy Shapes were placed in the center of the sequins to give it an even more fun look.

And for the inside of the card, I placed a 5" by 4" piece of Lemon Line Twist Cardstock along with three hand cut mangoes from the paper as seen below:

You will absolutely adore these new products!!!  I just know it!
