Make a ‘sandwich’ for the Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine in this order:
- Magnetic Platform
- Standard cutting pad
- Cardstock scraps (one at a time): Lemon Lime Twist, Daffodil Delight, and Tranquil Tide – use the 2nd and 3rd squares to make a frame (one inside the other)
- Standard cutting pad
- Run this ‘sandwich’ through the machine
Note: Save all the inside squares that are cut out to use on the inside of the card.
Whisper White Cardstock mat – 4” x 5 ¼”. Take the three coordinating washi tapes and line them up on the bottom leaving
a bit of an overage on both ends. Secure the overage around to the back. Take the three frames and adhere them one at a
time with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Lay the Stampin’ Pierce Mat on your work surface and cover it with a piece of copy paper. Since the stamps are
photopolymer this helps give cushioning in the stamping process. Stamp the ‘happy birthday’ saying in Memento Ink near
the right corner. Apply Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back of this panel. Fold the 4 ¼” x 11” Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock
card base in half at 5 ½” and then adhere the Whisper White panel to the front.
Stamp the balloon image in Tranquil Tide Ink on a scrap of Whisper White – be careful to notice the direction of the punch
so that you stamp this in the correct position. Punch out the balloon and then attach it. Use the Tranquil Tide Stampin’
Write Marker to draw a bow and string line.
On scrap cardstock stamp four sets of flowers in Daffodil Delight Ink. When you stamp the full-image flower, stamp off once
on copy paper so it’s not too dark. Then stamp the outlined image on top in full strength ink. It helps if you watch the
arrows on the stamps to ensure perfect alignment. Stamp five leaves in Lemon Lime Twist and attach to the backs of the
flowers once you have fussy cut them out. Apply Mini Glue Dots on the backs to attach to the squares.
On the inside of the card, attach the squares. Stamp ‘to you’ on the middle square.
Use the Paper Piercing Tool to lift rhinestones and place them in the middle of the flowers.
