Whole Lot of Lovely Designer Series Paper cut to 5 ¾” x 8.
Glue near the bind on the composition book (since this is
something that will be used quite a bit, glue everything down very well).
Note: I purchased the composition book in this color to coordinate with the Designer Series Paper –purchased at a Big Box store.
Watercolor Paper cut to 3 ¾” x 5”. Stamp the’ pencil holder’ in Archival Stampin’ Ink near the bottom left side of the paper. In addition, stamp just the ‘brush holder section’ on a scrap piece of the Whole Lot of Lovely Designer Series Paper. Stamp the saying near the right corner, and then the scissor image is stamped to hang off the piece of Watercolor Paper as seen in the photo. On an additional piece of Watercolor Paper, stamp another full scissor image.
Color the brush images using the blender pens and the Ink Pads. Color the additional scissor image. Take a light amount of Crumb Cake Ink and go around the stamped images. With a piece of the sponge, tap it on the Crumb Cake Ink Pad and sponge around the entire piece of Watercolor Paper. Cut out the ‘brush holder section’ that you stamped on the Whole Lot of Lovely Designer Series Paper and glue it to on top of the other stamped image to fill it in. Fussy cut the scissor image. I took a Handheld Circle Punch and punched out the finger holes (just had to keep at it until they were empty).
Adhere the Watercolor Paper to a piece of 4” x 5 ¼” Basic Black Cardstock.
Cut the Pear Pizzazz Cardstock to 1 ½” x 8 ½” and the Basic Black Cardstock to 2” x 8 ½” and then punch them with the Banner Triple Punch. Adhere the Basic Black piece to the composition book first and then the Pear Pizzazz on top (you may have to snip off a bit of this one afterwards as it will hang off the end a bit).
Tie a knot around the front of the composition book with the 3/8” Shimmery Ribbon in Basic Black.
Adhere the Watercolor Paper mat to the composition book. Carefully put Adhesive on the scissor image and glue it down. Add Rhinestones for a little bling. I made sure to push them down well in the hopes that they would stay on.
For the Pen: Pentel R.S.V.P. pen purchased at a Big Box Store. Twist the end cap and take the pen apart pulling out the ink cartridge.
Cut a matching piece of Whole Lot of Lovely Designer Series Paper to 1” x 3 3/8”. Wrap this around a pencil lengthwise and then remove it from the pencil. Tightly wind it around the ink cartridge barrel and insert it back into the pen and twist on the end cap. Now you have a matching pen for the composition book.
