Start with a 12” x 12” piece of Be Merry Designer Series Paper. Position on the Simply Scored Scoring Tool in the direction you want to see it when the bag is completed. Score at 2”, 5 ¾”, 7 ¾”, and 11 ½”. Rotate the paper 90⁰ to the right. Score at 2” and then flip over your paper keeping that same score line at 2”, and then score at 10”
(this helps to get your cuff going in the correct position).
Use a Bone Folder to crease your score lines. Cut as shown in the first two pictures below and tape down the cuff.
Place Tear & Tape Adhesive on the thin fold line as shown in the third picture and then adhere shut. Now to make your bottom: first fold your two sides, next the back flap (where your seam is located), and then the front flap using Tear & Tape Adhesive. Using your fingers, press in on the sides to create the gussets and secure the top with a clothes pin to hold it closed while you tie the Solid Baker’s Twine in Whisper White around the top. I went around three times and tied a bow.
On a scrap of Whisper White Cardstock – 2” x 1 3/8”, stamp the saying from Oh, What Fun in Cherry Cobbler Ink and adhere it to a piece of Garden Green Cardstock. Trim to fit. Attach 4 Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and place it on the lower left corner of the bag. This would be such a cute bag with a pair of mittens inside! Enjoy!
