Cut three pieces of Thick White Cardstock at 3” x 4.5”. Stamp the three different baskets in Black Archival Ink on the middle of the cardstock. To ensure a proper stamped image, be sure to lay your cardstock on the Stampin’ Pierce Pad since these stamps are photopolymer. On a scrap piece of Thick White Cardstock stamp the basket images one more time for your raised piece on the card. Stamp the flower/strawberries/pumpkin images inside the baskets. Stamp the sayings.
Heat set your stamped images with the Heat Tool to prevent smudging. Color your images with the watercolor pencils and blend. I did not color the stamped basket image on the 3” x 4.5” piece, but did color the second image that was stamped on the scrap cardstock. Cut out the scrap baskets after water-coloring them and place Dimensionals on the back.
Cut the Color Theory Designer Series Paper at 1” x 3” for the bottom of the stamped piece. Adhere to the 3” x 4.5” piece. Wrap linen thread around it 2-3 times and secure in the back. Tie a knot on the front of the card by attaching it under and around the wrapped linen thread. Attach the 3” x 4.5” piece to the coordinating cardstock which is cut at 3.25” x 4.75”; and lastly to the Note Card. Attach the raised baskets on top of the previously stamped images on the Note Card.
These would make a great gift bundled in a cello bag and tied with a ribbon. Enjoy!
