Again I would like to show you two cards today using the Succulent Garden Designer Series Paper. The above card was again made by Colleen Dewey. Colleen used the Succulent Garden paper in a way that was different. She cut out the flowers on the paper and made a gorgeous bouquet which included rhinestones to bling it up a bit. The sentiment came from Best Birds. The ribbon was from the Succulent Garden ribbon combo. Soft Suede was her ink of choice. All together the Designer Series Paper was placed on Mint Macaron card stock which will be retiring.
The card base was cut 8 1/2" by 11" and scored on the 8 1/2" side at 4 1/4". It was then folded on the score line.
The Designer Series Paper was cut 4" by 5 1/4" and then cut again with one side flipped to show the coordinating side.
Such a nice card from Colleen. Thank you Colleen for sharing.
The above card I made for one of my friends I told you about yesterday. Inside it has the sentiment hang in there which really says it all. These kinds of cards are always hard to make because I sit there thinking about the person I am to give it to. I would rather be sending a birthday card but sometimes this is just what a person needs. A pick me up card.
I am so glad you get to see two cards using the same paper today.
