Happy Birthday Thinlits And Fun Sneak Peek

Bday

You are going to love the Happy Birthday Thinlits.  I just know you will.  Why?  Because I have been having an absolute ball playing with mine.  My special tip to make these fabulous to put on is to use the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets that are in the new catalog available in June.  I had one from past years but the new ones will be easier to use because of their size.  Also something I love to do and would highly recommend is while cutting one, why not cut several.  They may not all be the Happy Birthday Thinlits, but if you arrange thinlits on your cardstock and cut as many as will fit then you will have them ready to go saving much time.

For the Designer Series Paper, Birthday Memories was used.  The circles were cut using the Stitched Shapes framelits.  The Happy Birthday was cut out of our new In Color cardstock color Berry Burst which gave it the definition I was looking for.  For the measurements:

The card base was cut at  4 1/4" on the 8 1/2" side out of the Berry Burst cardstock which makes the card fold over from the top and not from the side.  I scored the card on the 11" side at 5 1/2"

The Designer Series Paper was cut 4" by 5 1/4".

Anyone who knows me from my blog posts knows how much I love a gender neutral card.  Maybe it is because I have so many nephews.  This card qualifies for that.  You may wonder how I came up with this particular card.  I had the Berry Burst cardstock out from taking it out of my preorder.  I had cut some circles using the new Designer Series Paper.  They ended up on the same area of my work table.  I had cut some Happy Birthdays out of the new In Color.  It looked good on the table and so I figured it would look even better on a card.  It happened.  I did put Whisper White Cardstock inside so it would be easier to write on.  I hope you like it or at least it gives you inspiration for something else.
