Jane Stull sent me this card and I thought it was just way too cute not to show. Jane went to Alabama and so this is a great card for any Alabama fan. If you are not an Alabama fan, that is o.k. as well. There are so many ways to use this card but first I hope you will look at how she made the elephant so that you can make a version of your own.
Most of the elephant is made from circles. This can be done with circle punches or layered circle framelits. The ears are made from a butterfly. I am not sure what butterfly but I bet the Bold Butterfly Framelits would work or something that looks like that. The grass was cut with the fringe scissors. The trunk could be made like this with a strip of paper cut with a notch at the end just like this one to complete the elephant.
Now for other ideas since not everyone is an Auburn fan. Since elephants are a symbol of good luck, good luck could be the words that go along with this cute thing. A zoo themed invitation would be another idea. There are so many ways to use this card so you can use your imagination. Since I am going to Thailand compliments of Stampin' Up!®, I could not help but think of all the elephants I will see when I am there. This card was a great one and I am thrilled Jane sent it to me.
Thank you Jane.
