Yesterday I finally got a chance to play with two of the new products that will be available on February 21st for Sale-A-Bration items. As a Stampin' Up!® demonstrator, we get to purchase items ahead of time. It was so much fun getting to actually use the products and I know that you are going to LOVE these new items if you purchase $50 (before tax and shipping) in product to get the new items free.
I stamped the Hooray from the Reverse Words stamp set with Bermuda Bay. I used the paper trimmer to trim around the sentiment to make a rectangle. I then did the same thing with the Bermuda Bay Glimmer paper. This was trimmed a little larger than the sentiment rectangle to give a border around the sentiment. Like many photos I take with my new phone, the card just does not look like it does in real life. In real life it is simply elegant. Extremely minimalist looking but classy. A piece of thick whisper white card stock was placed on top of a regular whisper white card stock card base with stampin' dimensionals. I attached the glimmer paper and sentiment together with the tear and tape adhesive. So elegant and so simple. One I can make in a hurry but still looks nice.
For the measurements:
card base: 8 1/2" scored at the 4 1/4". Cut on the 11" side at 5 1/2". Fold at the score line.
card base top: 4" by 5 1/4"
