Valentine's Day Card For Library Class

Valentine 2

I know the above photograph does not do the card justice.  I receive my new I phone Monday so things should be looking up on the photo side of this blog.  In the meantime I hope you will use your imagine as to how awesome this card looks.  It is extremely clean and simple but one I think you would enjoy receiving.

The card is made using the new Sending Love Designer Series Paper Stack and Sealed With Love stamp set you can purchase January 4, 2017 (always feels strange writing a new year).  I cut the above sheet of paper 4" by 5 1/4" and placed it on a white card base.  The stitched framelits were used and even if you did not purchase them when they were available, you can use the layering circles framelits and get the same look without the stitching.  The strip of designer paper was cut at 1" by 5 1/4" and placed on the left side of the card.  The silver foil paper was cut 1/4" by 5 1/4" and placed along the designer series paper strip with glue dots.  A metallic doily was placed on top of the strip and the Sweet and Sassy Framelits were used to cut out a shimmery white cardstock heart as well as a real red cardstock heart.

This card is one of three cards that will be made by attendees to a card class I am doing for the local library here in Newnan, GA on January 21st.  It will be held at the Powell library on Hospital Road and if you can come, you will want to register for it at the library.  The three cards will be clean and simple and should only take the hour of the class as everything will be cut out for attendees.  Plus the best part is that this class is free as it is a non promotional program.

Thank you so much for stopping by.  Because of my camera situation, it may be a awhile before a future post.  Stay tuned though as great things are to come.  Please subscribe to this blog so you do not miss anything.
