Kay Barker's Wonderful Card Candy
A Gift From Frenchie

Star Of Light Meets Serene Scenery

Colleen 1

Today's card was designed and made by my "ghost stamper" Colleen.  I loved it because I had so much of the Serene Scenery Paper Pack that had not been used yet.  As always, Colleen did not disappoint.  She put the extra Serene Scenery to use.  This card can be used for many things.  The card is using the Star of Light Stamp set with the Starlight Thinlits Dies which would be thought of as a Christmas theme set.  As you can see above, it was made for so many purposes and not at all Christmas unless of course you wanted it to be.

The Serene Scenery paper was run through the big shot using the star framelit to cut out an opening in the center.  An intricate star of Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper was cut out.  The Serene Scenery paper with star cutout was placed using Stampin' Dimensionals onto the Pool Party cardstock.  The intricate star was strategically placed behind the star opening to give it dimension.   Rhinestones were then added to give bling.  The Shine sentiment was stamped on the front using white craft ink and embossed using white embossing powder.  The dimensions of the paper and cardstock are as follows:

White card base-8 1/2" by 5 1/2" (8 1/2" side scored at 4 1/4")

Pool Party cardstock-5 1/4" by 4"

Serene Scenery paper-5" by 3 3/4"

My "ghost stamper" Colleen also loves the inside to be finished as well so you can see how that looks below:
