Wetlands And One Of My Swap Cards

Bird Card

Above is one of my swap cards for the OnStage event in Atlanta next weekend.  I used the Serene Scenery Designer Series Paper Stack for all of my OnStage swaps.  My "ghost stamper" Colleen came up with the above card and I think it is gorgeous so I am quite happy.  The paper was perfect with the Wetlands stamp set. The Lots of Labels Framelits dies were used for the backing of the goose.  The linen thread knot added just the right amount of texture to the card.  I also loved the way the pearls were placed in the upper right side of the card again to add dimension and texture.

I have to tell you the funny comment my husband made.  I showed him this card and he asked how the water was stamped so perfectly?  I told him it was a designer series paper and to make it they actually take a photo of something.  I loved it that he thought it was stamped.  Wow would I ever be an artist if I could have stamped that.  Thank heavens we have the paper and stamps to "look good".  Makes life so much easier.

Love that your husband thought the water was stamped! Aren't husbands the best when they assume everything we show them has to involve stamping! See ya' next week!
