Inspiration From The Pool

Pool

I don't know if you have had inspiration like this or not, but I was sitting out by the pool yesterday morning.  The water was gorgeous, the temperature was perfect and my creative juices started designing a card based on my morning relaxation.  The inspiration was the relaxing while watching the pool.  Then I started thinking of ducks.  Thinking of ducks in the pool or a bath.  The sunshine was brilliant.  I then had it.  A card with ducks, sunshine and water.  With that, here is the finished project of my inspiration:

Duck card

I used the Baby's First Framelits for the ducks.  Sunshine Wishes Thinlets were used for the word.  Using gold foil sheets for the word made it gleaming just like the sunshine that inspired the card.  The Project Life corner punch was used to round and soften the corners.  A pool party base was used for the background..  The whisper white cardstock was cut at 5 1/4" by 4" and run through the Seaside folder to make the waves.  Enamel shapes were used for the "bubbles" in the water.  I had so much fun coming up with this card and hope you enjoy it.
