Thank you so much for hopping by for the World Card Making Day Blog Hop. Such fun showing cards we are making for this day. Here is a card I made to "dress up" things a bit. I thought this card would be fun for prom, homecoming, a birthday, special occasion, a cruise formal night. All sorts of occasions. I have been playing with the Irresistibly Floral Specialty Designer Series Paper and saw a formal shirt in the patterns so set off to "make" the shirt. It sure beats sewing because it can be completed quickly.
For the body, I used the Project Life Cards and Labels Framelits. It was the perfect size. I then cut layering pieces of cardstock for the white to be placed on pretty much making each layer 1/4" larger than the one above it. I loved how the Tip Top Taupe looked for this and I am such a red girl that I had to have red on the card as well as for the flower. Metallic pearls made the buttons and the bow punch was perfect for the bow tie. I cut strips of the Designer Series Paper for the sleeves and folded to make the cuffs. No specific dimensions as I "winged it" and played with it until I got the look I was looking for.
