Welcome to this month's Mediterranean Achievers Blog Hop. Last month was an absolute treat when I attended the global incentive trip with my husband Jake. We had the absolute best time ever!!! Because of the stops on the cruise, this was the best trip I have taken with Stampin' Up!®. I will share a few photos from the trip. Hopefully you will get an idea of some of the experiences. I always set a goal of $3,300 in sales each month (US dollars) to earn the trip. I did not earn them in the beginning because it seemed like such a far off goal for me. Now, I realize that was not the case. It is extremely doable to earn a trip. Come see a few of the highlights although there are too many to share!
Above were two of the pillow gifts we got. We would come into our room and what a shock. A shock because I thought we were only going to get one pillow gift which was a Cirque du Soleil show. We did get the show I knew about but also a gift each and every night. And the gifts were absolutely incredible.
The best part about a global trip is the demonstrators you meet from all over the world. When I went to the Brussels Onstage Live event, I got to know Monica Gale from England really well. Since I lived in England twice and have had a great love for milk gums since I went when I was thirteen, she bought and brought milk gums to me. How precious!!! Also wine gums which I love!!! She loves American Fritos so received those from me. We were both happy.
Above was a group of American demonstrators we took a private tour with. I have gotten to know these wonderful demonstrators through the years so it was fun going on the tour with them. Our first stop was Naples so this is where we had lunch. A winery that was so wonderful. The fresh food and atmosphere were fabulous!
This was our Pompeii tour guide. I loved seeing quite a few men in scarves since I love to wear them. He had so much knowledge to share with us. His Italian accent was extremely cute as well!
The garden above was at Pompeii. It has been made to look as it exactly was when Pompeii was an active community. Very impressive!
For our Rome stop, we did not go into the city but went into the area of Rome right off of the ship. Above is a market we shopped at. I got some scarves and two dresses.
Monica Gale and I had coffee and shared some pastries at a bakery. Our husbands were there as well.
I got so excited when I saw Louise Sharp!!! We finally got to meet each other officially and it was such a treat. Such a super sweet talented demonstrator from Australia (wearing a hat). Meeting and seeing demonstrators was a highlight like all the trips, but the global trips even more so.
We went on a private gastronomic tour at our Livorno stop. We saw so much of Tuscany and the Chianti region. What a gorgeous area with wonderful food. I will have to return to that part of Italy. I loved it so much.
We stopped in Cannes but had just missed the Film Festival. Jake and I went to a fresh market and bought blueberries the size of nickels. Amazing! We then had lunch at a cafe in the city. A beautiful place.
There are so many more photos and so many memories! I hope you have gotten a taste of what Stampin' Up!® incentive trips are like. If you are a demonstrator, you can earn a trip. It is within reach. If you are not a demonstrator but enjoy this blog hop you may want to become one. We have tons of fun. I say the trips and relationships are what it is all about. Thank you for hopping. I hope you will subscribe to my blog so you do not miss out on anything
